AYSO Gold is AYSO Region 1046’s Select Team program. AYSO Gold emphasizes player development in a positive learning environment under AYSO’s six core philosophies. AYSO Gold teams play competitively with teams across the Valley and beyond, against both Club teams and AYSO Allstar teams from other AYSO regions. Players are selected for teams through open tryouts held prior to each season.

The Gold Program Highlights

  • AYSO Gold Program emphasizes PLAYER DEVELOPMENT through higher competition and training.
  • COMPETITIVE GAMES AND TEAMS against Club and AYSO teams around state to challenge player’s skills.
  • CERTIFIED TRAINED COACHES with planned practices.
  • LIMITED ROSTERS, to maximize field time and learning opportunities.
  • PLAYER POSITIONS, players are evaluated and trained to play multiple positions during season.
  • PLAYING TIME GUARANTEED, all players required to play at least half of each game.
  • AYSO VALUES emphasizes good sportsmanship from players, coaches, and parents.
  • AYSO REQUIRES parent participation as a volunteer in some aspect for the team.
  • TOTAL COST - typically $600 or less per player for Season August to April
    (Includes Adidas uniform, registrations, all tournament fees, leagues fees, etc.  Cost is about 1/4 of typical CLUB costs    .)
